Sponsor A Child
Your $40/month sponsorship can provide food, water, clothing, school, healthcare, and more for one of these children:

Basil Ouma
Age: 6
He has polio and as a result is physically disabled. He is allowed to join other children at a non-formal school. The school occassionally gives him food. He is calm, but distances himself from others. His mother is hospitalized for terminal illness.
Brian Wanyonyi
Age: 4
He lives with his mother, who is ill. Their house in the slum caught fire. They are staying in a shelter near a church. The shelter is made of iron sheets and is very cold at night. This has affected him psychologically. He likes to play with toys and draw.
Trevor Omondi
Age: 5
His mother struggles to raise him because she doesn't have a stable income. She cannot provide for basic necessities, such as food, clothing, and a place to sleep. Still, Trevor is hard working and responsible. He usually stays at home alone while his mother goes out to look for work. He hopes to be a pilot someday. His favourite foods are rice and stew. He likes to read and sing.
Sharon Wambui
Age: 7
Both her parents died of HIV. She lives with her 2 cousins and grandmother. Both of her cousins parents also died of HIV. The grandmother makes $1 a day and sometimes buys spoils Sharon by buying her spaghetti because it's her favourite food. She hopes to be a doctor someday (not a nurse!)
Purity Nafula
Age: 5
She lives in the Soweto slum with her mother (HIV positive) and younger brother. She likes to eat rice. One day, she hopes to be a doctor!
